Nedra-Vatnshorn is by road nr.1 situated in the Northwestpart of Iceland. It´s between Reykjavík and Akureyri  in a distance within 200 km from Reykjavík and 190 km from Akureyri. You need aprox. 2 and a half hour by car and three hours by bus.

By bus: there are daily busses from Reykjavík to Akureyri – Reykjavík, twice a day,  from June the first  until middle of September. Bus line Trex. The bus stops in Borgarnes for a short break and in Staðarskáli N1 for lunch break. Coming from Akureyri it stops for break at Varmahlið ( lunch) and a short break at Blönduós.

Please tell the driver to stop at Nedra-Vatnshorn. We will pick you up by car down on the road nr. 1  , 300 m from the guesthouse.
